All products manufactured by MMJGRIND meet or exceed USP’s stringent quality standards and are comprised of biocompatible materials. The MMJGRiNS is made of multiple FDA approved and USP CLASS VI Certified plastics used in medical devices and high demanding applications.
Bio-Compatible materials - A common dictionary definition is “the quality of being compatible with living tissue or a living system by not being toxic or injurious and not causing immunological rejection”.
Bio-compatibility is the lack of negative interactions between materials and living tissue in organic systems. It’s achieved by using materials that are non-toxic, non-injurious, and not physiologically reactive. A material that is biocompatible does not cause an immune response in a host.
Our medical grinder has enlarged handles to boost the grinding torque. Patients with nerve-damaged or swollen joints, stiffened joints, or decreased movement will find the MMJGRIND handles very comfortable to use. The handles are covered with blue silicone rubber for an added grip that perfectly matches your fingers.
MMJGRIND FRICTIONLESS TECHNOLOGY
A grinder’s functionality is subjected to friction and over time - bits/flakes of the raw material degrades and contaminates the medicine.
Our patent-pending technology consists of a ring that functions as a buffer between the two main parts, avoiding direct contact, thus eliminating wear and particles migrating from main parts to the grounded medicine.
The main teeth are very short and the ones on the sides are a little higher, creating a football-shaped loading section. Gradual grinding allows breaking in the flowers rather than shredding them. How do we break them? The loading section has lower height teeth that work as the initial cross rotation begins; coupled with a short rotation, it breaks in the flower without pressing or smashing it. The performance is subject to user operation.
This feature has a few benefits. For one, it preserves the structure of the trichomes, as this may still be controversial. Some believe that terpenes are utilized to their maximum potential, and another benefit is reduced friction, which increases the lifespan of the grinder.
As we believe in the reduction of direct hand contact with the cannabis flowers to eliminate medicinal contamination, we have equipped the MMJGRIND with reduced blades/teeth space that allows the loading of a whole flower. The football-shaped cavity provides enough room to load up to 1 gram of medicine, depending on its density.
