Zinc Grinders

ZINC GRINDERS - EASY TO IDENTIFY

Zinc grinders are very common and can be easily distinguished.

Zinc grinders can be altered with beautiful coloring on them, but they are very harmful. Zinc grinders are very cheap due to the low cost and ease of processing the metal, which is achieved by adding silica and lead to the materials in order to allow easier casting of the material in the shape of a grinder. This production method is very common industrially for machinery. These materials are not used in the medical industry.

ZINC GRINDERS ON AMAZON

Zinc grinders can be found on Amazon and eBay for about 10 US dollars or more.

RAINBOW GRINDERS

Yes, rainbow grinders are made of zinc. It is strongly recommended that you avoid using a rainbow grinder. Get rid of them, and use your hands to grind until your new grinder arrives.

ZINC GRINDERS’ WEIGHT

Zinc grinders tend to feel a little heavy, which can mislead buyers to thinking they are of high quality. They also have a really color-changing UV base color. Zinc grinders will gum-up very fast, as zinc is a soft and brittle material. If you take a zinc grinder to its limit, the teeth/blades will snap or tear without any preliminary signs—it will not bend or provide any signs that it is about to wear out.

DO ALL ZINC GRINDERS SHINE?

No, not all zinc grinders shine! Some of them come in a pale grey color. Their external finish will look and feel very smooth.

Pay attention to the surface texture on the bottom of the grinder. Do you notice a rough, dotted surface? This is made by casting. If your grinder has that kind of surface, it probably contains chromium / zinc / lead. All of these materials are very bad for your health.
